Who are we?

We are a network of practitioners of magic and the Craft, with lineage and influences from Alexandrian, Gardnerian, Welsh and Ceremonial Traditions. Each of the groups and covens in our circles are independent, autonomous and make their own decisions about how they work and what they do, but we all subscribe to the same central ideals and aims.

The Gods & Spirits

Practitioners of the Craft may be polytheists, pantheists, panentheists, animists, duotheists, henotheists, monists, deists, agnostics or non-theistic practitioners. Our circles respect this diversity and do not require everyone to share the same theology. Our practice tends towards polytheism, approaching gods and spirits as distinct beings, while allowing space for individual understanding and interpretation based on the knowledge and experience of the individuals involved. We encourage dialogue on the nature of the Gods, Spirits and other beings we call on in our work.

Inclusivity & LGBTQ +

Since our beginnings in 2000, our circles welcome people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, racial and cultural backgrounds. We are committed to treating everyone with dignity, respect and equality, without prejudice or restrictive assumptions about identity. Where they have felt it appropriate, our coven and group leaders adapt the language of traditional rituals to reflect this inclusivity, and we do not always follow prescribed ritual gender roles. However, our practice is rooted in and also respects the past – we are just not confined by it.
